Positive: Location in centre of town, aircon in the bedroom and lounge which was quite strong and a relief from the palermo heat. Manfredi was super welcoming, responsive and kind enough to leave us with Sicilian wine on arrival. Apartment was well equipped with cooking staples like oil, pasta, salt, spices and herbs - great if you want to cook for yourself. Sufficient utensils and cutlery also. There was also a lift in the building, though about 8ish stairs to go up regardless.
Negative: Be mindful that being in the centre of town means some noise, though not significant. The road / laneway leading to the street of the apartment can be a little dirty / smelly.

Positive: The location was near Via Maqueda. However, the neighborhood is run down. The terrace is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.
Negative: The neighborhood and the bathroom smell from the old building plumbing. The wifi does not work in the kitchen nor the terrace. The apartment should be listed as having 1.5 bathrooms instead of 2 bathrooms.

Positive: The apartment and especially the terrace were amazing and located perfectly in the heart of the lively city. As you are located in the center and right next to Vucciria please do not expect the area to be like a silent retreat - however inside the apartment you feel far away from any noise despite being this close to the party. The apartment is furnished beautifully and located in an amazing renovated building and its beauty was only exceeded by the kindness and friendliness of the hosts who went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! Thanks again for all the great suggestions, we really enjoyed our stay there a lot!!

Positive: neighbor hood was a little run down but the apartment was fab. The terrace in the heart of Palermo was a great sun trap and everywhere you wound want to visit was in quick walking distance. loved it!!
Negative: it was very clean, had everything you would need - the shampoo, soap etc was nice touch if only there for a mini break. Coffee, tea, sugar etc all provided.

Positive: Incredible place, modern apartement, incredibly spacy. It is even better than on photos. The terrase on the roof, well equipped kitchen, everyhing. The building itself is also incredibly beautiful and historic.
Negative: Noisy neighbourhood, but that is a price for being directly in city centre.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Manfredi's place - he made us very welcome and showed us everything, also providing the list with his special recommendations around town. The flat is super! Housed in a historic building, with a 2-story layout but still very modern. It is decorated with a lot of love and care. What we liked: *Modern bathroom, always hot water and good water pressure *Building has a lift *Well-equipped kitchen *Washing machine with a 30 min option *Very clean *Sofa bed in living room very comfortable *The terrace is just the right amount away of Vuciria market so that you are still near that area where life is but you aren't being kept awake by the constant drumming. View was lovely with San Domenico church where G. Falcone lies. *Wifi was reliable *Bus station to train and bus station very, very close. We would definitely recommend this flat - especially those who stay in Palermo longer and need a place which feels like home.
